Peruna takaisin ruokapöytiin
Peruna on ollut suomalaisen ruokapöydän kulmakivi sukupolvien ajan, mutta viime vuosikymmeninä sen asemaa ovat haastaneet pasta ja riisi. Vuodesta 1965 vuoteen 2016 jokainen suomalainen on vähentänyt perunan syömistään noin sadalla kilolla – se on valtava muutos.
Kun sää, matalapaine, harmaus ja sade, vaikuttaa suoraan mieleen ja oloon. Tänä kesänä se on tuntunut erityisen vahvasti pitkien matalapainejaksojen aikoina. Väsymys.
Julkaisin hiljattain sosiaalisessa mediassa kesäsalaattiresepti-reelsin, jonka raaka-aineet olivat kotimaisia: varhaisperunaa, kaalia, kananmunaa, jogurttia ja mausteena piparjuuritahnaa (ruotsalaista) sekä sinappia. Yksinkertainen, sesonkiin sopiva annos – ja samalla hyvä esimerkki siitä, miten arkisilla valinnoilla voi tukea laajempia...
